GorpGirls Hike to Strawberry Peak

Trail: Strawberry Peak Trail via Redbox Canyon
Distance: 7.0 miles out-and-back
Elevation Gain: Approximately 1,800 feet
Difficulty: Challenging
Estimated Duration: 4–5 hours

Strawberry Peak stands at 6,164 feet, making it the tallest of the front range peaks in the San Gabriel Mountains. The trail offers a mix of steady inclines and a steeper, more technical ascent near the summit. Be prepared for some scrambling as we approach the peak. The panoramic views from the top are well worth the effort!
