GorpGirls Garden Club at Bushwick Inlet Park

Overview

Come get your hands dirty with us! We're teaming up with North Brooklyn Parks Alliance for a morning of volunteering at one of our favorite neighborhood green spaces. 

We'll be helping with seasonal gardening tasks like weeding, planting, mulching, and general garden care. All tools will be provided.

10am - 12pm

Meeting Point:

Bushwick Inlet Park at Kent Ave & N. 12th Street. Look for the white North Brooklyn Parks Alliance tent with green lettering.

What to Bring:

Closed-toe shoes (required)
Water bottle
Sunscreen
Hat and sunglasses (recommended)
Clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty

We'll provide all gardening tools and supplies. Come spend a few hours in community, learn a little about urban gardening, and help keep Brooklyn's parks thriving.
